About
Me
Emily Gaffga is a multifaceted dance artist with a deeply curious mind and an innately musical body. Developed over the last 20 years, her dance style is at the intersection of fluid, full bodied sequentiality, and atypical pathways. Her training has fostered both bodily and historical knowledge within contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, and ballet forms. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, with a focus in Performance and Choreography.
During her time in NYC pre, during, and post-pandemic, Emily has been training, performing, and teaching students across the tri-state area. She has worked with Eddie Taketa, Bebe Miller, Ryan Daniel Beck, Gwen Potter, and Sam Lobel to name a few.
